About the Role
You will diagnose complex system and network issues in secure, air-gapped cloud environments. You will run and adapt infrastructure scripts and diagnostic tools, unblock engineering workflows, improve patching pipelines, and ensure operations comply with federal security requirements.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, support engineering, DevSecOps, or a related technical operational role
- Proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, or Java
- Infrastructure-as-Code knowledge, including Terraform or CloudFormation
- Debugging and systems administration experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Linux/Unix systems engineering experience
- Container and orchestration knowledge, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Automated patch deployment pipeline experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to work from the McLean secure facility and support 24x7 operational coverage as required
Responsibilities
- Drive technical triage, infrastructure visibility, and incident resolution for secure multi-cloud environments
- Unblock complex GovCloud system interactions for internal engineering teams
- Execute and adapt infrastructure scripts, automation tools, and diagnostic workflows
- Identify and resolve environment blocks affecting compliant patch deployments
- Implement operational guardrails within secure facilities
