About the Role
You will support testing environments, lead environment-stability efforts, coordinate incident triage and resolution, and improve operational efficiency. You will build observability dashboards, automate stability work, standardize technical processes, analyze stability trends, and collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, operations, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
- At least 6 years of production-environment experience across on-premises and cloud environments
- Experience with COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, MQ, and stored procedures
- Experience with CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, or ELK
- Experience with incident coordination and triage
- Knowledge of ITIL practices
- Knowledge of GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Artifactory, Kubernetes, and uDeploy
- Knowledge of ETL, Java, Python, AWS, or Azure
- Experience with Kubernetes, AKS, EKS, Unix scripting, AWS, and Azure
Responsibilities
- Support applications across multiple test environments
- Lead environment-stability efforts and coordinate responses to environment issues
- Coordinate and triage incidents through resolution
- Create Datadog and Splunk dashboards
- Analyze data and stability trends
- Ensure adherence to operational policies and procedures
- Partner with stakeholders on stability and operational-readiness opportunities
- Automate platform-stability approaches
- Standardize technical processes and refine operational practices
- Mentor team members in areas of domain expertise
