About the Role
You will manage and support our on-premise IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and operational stability of local systems. You will administer Windows and Linux servers, manage virtualization platforms, and maintain backup and monitoring systems. You will handle patch management, vulnerability remediation, and support local integrations with cloud services as we migrate to AWS. You will maintain technical documentation, participate in BCP/DR testing, coordinate with vendors for on-site hardware and connectivity, and support office expansions or relocations.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years experience as System Administrator / IT Infrastructure Engineer
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server (AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals
- Strong knowledge of VLANs, routing, firewall basics
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V)
- Experience with backup solutions
- Understanding of IT security best practices
- Experience in regulated environment is a plus
- Good written and spoken English
- AWS experience is a plus
- Linux administration is a plus
- Experience with monitoring systems (Zabbix / Prometheus / etc.) is a plus
- ITIL understanding is a plus
- Scripting skills (PowerShell / Bash) is a plus
- Experience in fintech or banking sector is a plus
Responsibilities
- Administer Windows and Linux servers (AD, DNS, DHCP, File Services)
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V)
- Support and maintain on-premise equipment
- Administer backups and test restores
- Monitor system health and availability
- Perform patch management and vulnerability remediation
- Manage local integrations with cloud services and migration to AWS
- Maintain technical documentation and runbooks
- Participate in BCP/DR testing, including DR site switchovers
- Coordinate with vendors for on-site hardware and connectivity
- Support office expansions or relocations
