About the Role
You will design and implement enterprise-grade autonomous analytical data systems. You will develop storage lifecycle and optimization capabilities, improve storage layouts, advance data-format and catalog interoperability, debug and optimize production systems, lead technical projects, automate operations, investigate incidents, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- 15+ years building and supporting large-scale distributed systems
- Knowledge of database systems, storage systems, distributed systems, language design, or performance optimization
- Experience delivering against a multi-year vision with incremental deliverables
- Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
Responsibilities
- Design and implement autonomous analytical data systems
- Develop storage lifecycle and background optimization capabilities
- Build efficient storage structures and storage layout solutions
- Influence data-format and catalog-interface unification
- Deliver scalable, available, interoperable Managed Tables architecture
- Debug and optimize large production clusters
