About the Role

You will architect, implement, and optimize real-time vehicle localization and state-estimation systems. You will fuse sensor data, develop mathematical models and low-latency Rust code, integrate map data and semantic landmarks, and build evaluation frameworks for simulation and physical test tracks.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of industry experience
• Expertise in probabilistic robotics, state estimation, and 3D geometry
• Experience building and optimizing SLAM systems and point-cloud registration algorithms
• Experience processing and fusing IMU, LiDAR, Radar, GNSS, and other sensor data
• Systems-level programming skills in modern C++ and/or Rust
• Knowledge of memory management, concurrency, and real-time computing
• Python proficiency for data analysis, prototyping, and tooling
• Knowledge of linear algebra, calculus, and probability theory
• Experience deploying state-estimation algorithms on physical robots or autonomous vehicles

Responsibilities

• Act as a domain expert in real-time vehicle localization and state estimation
• Design, implement, and optimize multi-sensor fusion algorithms
• Architect mathematical models for factor graph optimization and Kalman filters
• Develop low-latency Rust code for vehicle compute devices
• Integrate map data and semantic landmarks into the localization pipeline
• Build evaluation frameworks for localization accuracy, integrity, and fault tolerance
