About the Role
You will design and build iOS experiences for creation, discovery, playback, and social features. You will create foundations for audio and animation, optimize app performance, use app health data to iterate after launch, set platform architecture, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years for Senior or 7+ years for Staff shipping production iOS apps
- Advanced Swift expertise
- Experience using SwiftUI and UIKit
- Experience building polished animations and translating prototypes into production code
- Experience profiling and improving UI thread contention and network efficiency
- Experience collaborating with designers, product managers, and backend teams
- Eligibility to work in the US
Responsibilities
- Design and build iOS app experiences across creation, discovery, playback, and social features
- Create abstractions and libraries for interactive audio and animation
- Collaborate with product and design on app flow and direction
- Optimize frame rates, load times, responsiveness, and interactions
- Instrument and monitor app health and iterate using user data
- Set iOS technical direction and architectural patterns
- Mentor engineers and improve code quality
