About the Role
You will research and develop algorithms for high-performance flight. You will model vehicle dynamics, design and tune flight-control systems in simulation and real-world environments, use C++, MATLAB, and Simulink, and apply aircraft dynamics, stability, handling-qualities, and modern-control expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering with a focus on Control Systems
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, 6 years with a Master’s degree, or 4 years with a PhD
- Production C++ experience
- MATLAB and Simulink experience
- Expert knowledge of aircraft dynamics, control, stability, and handling qualities
- Experience tuning and optimizing control systems in simulation and real-world environments
- Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance
