About the Role
You will own the graphics stack for robot displays. You will build rendering pipelines and Qt/QML applications, develop shaders and visual effects, optimize Vulkan and OpenGL ES output on embedded hardware, implement UI designs, profile performance, and establish graphics testing and CI practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Graphics, or a related field
- At least 7 years of industry experience in graphics or UI engineering
- Expert proficiency in Qt and QML
- Experience with Vulkan, OpenGL ES, GLSL, SPIR-V, and render-pipeline design
- Experience with vector graphics rendering and animation
- Experience developing for embedded or resource-constrained systems
- C++ skills and familiarity with Linux userspace development
- Cross-functional communication skills and ability to translate visual specifications into technical implementations
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize graphics rendering for robot head displays
- Build and maintain Qt/QML applications for embedded Linux
- Develop and tune shaders, vector graphics, animations, and visual effects
- Implement and optimize Vulkan and OpenGL ES rendering pipelines
- Implement and iterate on UI and UX designs
- Profile and optimize rendering performance on embedded hardware
- Integrate graphics components with robot platform software
- Establish graphics development, testing, and CI practices
