About the Role
You will lead circuit and subsystem design for next-generation aircraft and support equipment. You will own component selection, schematic capture, simulation, verification, debugging, and production release; integrate embedded systems and sensors; coordinate cross-functional work; mentor teammates; manage deliverables; and develop automated test solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of industry experience as an Electrical Engineer
- Electrical engineering fundamentals
- Product design-cycle experience across electrical, mechanical, and software engineering
- Product-shipping experience
- Ability to obtain an S//SAR security clearance
Responsibilities
- Lead circuit and subsystem design for aircraft and support equipment
- Support the design and integration of embedded systems and sensors
- Define technical product requirements and features
- Lead and mentor teammates
- Own component selection, schematic capture, simulation, analysis, verification, debugging, and production release
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Manage project timelines and deliverables
- Conduct cross-functional design reviews
- Integrate logic designs into the build and release cycle with firmware
- Develop automated test solutions
- Improve hardware-development efficiency, quality, and aircraft reliability
