About the Role
You will design aircraft electrical architectures, subsystems, circuits, embedded systems, and sensors. You will own development through production release, coordinate cross-functional work, integrate firmware, build automated tests, and mentor project teammates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of industry experience as an Electrical Engineer
- Technical electrical engineering fundamentals
- Experience leading multiple product design cycles involving electrical, mechanical, and software engineering
- Track record of shipping products through development cycles
Responsibilities
- Drive aircraft and support-equipment architecture, subsystem, and circuit design
- Design and integrate embedded systems and sensors for autonomy and AI
- Define technical product requirements and features
- Lead and mentor project teammates
- Own part selection, schematic capture, simulation, analysis, verification, debugging, and production release
- Coordinate with mechanical, embedded, software, manufacturing, and supply-chain teams
- Manage project timelines and deliverables
- Conduct cross-functional design reviews
- Integrate firmware logic designs into build and release cycles
- Develop automated test solutions
- Improve hardware development efficiency, quality, and aircraft reliability
