About the Role
You will design, build, and operate backend services for tokenized equities across blockchains. You will lead complex projects from design through operation, integrate traditional market infrastructure with on-chain systems, work with compliance and legal partners on regulatory constraints, and raise the technical bar through reviews and mentorship.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Large-scale distributed-system development in production
- Backend development with Go, Python, or Java
- Cloud-native architecture including Kafka, Postgres, or Kubernetes
- Idempotency, reconciliation, and failure-mode analysis
- Cross-functional project ownership
- Technical direction and mentorship
- Blockchain fundamentals including EVM, smart contracts, wallets, and on-chain settlement
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate backend services for tokenized equities
- Lead technically complex projects from design through operation
- Integrate brokerage, ledgers, corporate actions, smart contracts, chain indexers, and DEX trade flows
- Translate regulatory constraints into system designs with product, compliance, legal, and platform partners
- Conduct design reviews and code reviews
- Mentor engineers
