About the Role
You will develop and deploy search and discovery relevance models. You will build automated ML and NLP pipelines for query understanding, rewriting, ranking, retrieval, and evaluation, collaborate on search initiatives, and establish frameworks for offline and online ranking evaluation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing production search-relevance systems at scale or conducting high-impact search research.
- Experience applying LLMs to search relevance.
- Experience with query understanding, NLP, text mining, recommendations, personalization, discovery, or conversational AI.
- Strong computer-science fundamentals.
- Contributions to well-used open-source projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy ML-based search and discovery relevance models and systems.
- Build automated ML and NLP pipelines for preprocessing, query understanding, query rewriting, ranking, retrieval, and model evaluation.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams on search initiatives and roadmaps.
- Build frameworks to evaluate search-ranking improvements offline and online.
