About the Role
You will work across billing capabilities including usage ingestion, metering, pricing, credits, promotions, payments, reporting, cost centers, and budgeting. You will build commercial systems and pricing primitives, improve engineering reliability and data quality, collaborate on pricing plans, and apply AI and LLMs to cost insight and optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
- Technical leadership experience on large projects involving near-real-time data processing and distributed service infrastructure
- Experience building, shipping, and managing reliable distributed services and data pipelines at scale
- Leadership across functional and organizational boundaries
Responsibilities
- Design and manage commercial systems and services
- Develop primitives for pay-as-you-go pricing, commissions, credits, trials, and promotions
- Improve engineering efficiency, reliability, accuracy, response times, CI/CD, testing, data quality assurance, reconciliation, and anomaly detection
- Collaborate to develop and implement pricing strategies and plans
- Use AI and LLMs for cost insight, prediction, and optimization
- Provide technical leadership for long-term product vision and requirements
- Represent the organization at academic and industrial conferences and events
