About the Role
You take technical ownership of regional markets, lead mobile KYC and compliance implementations from requirements to release, build secure onboarding features across iOS and Android, integrate third-party KYC services, ensure privacy compliance, influence modular mobile architecture, apply AI coding tools, resolve production issues, and mentor teammates.
Requirements
- 5+ years of native iOS or Android development experience
- Expertise in iOS or Android
- Experience owning technical solutions end-to-end
- Experience integrating camera, biometric, OCR, or facial recognition SDKs
- Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Codex
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Experience balancing speed, quality, and compliance
- Familiarity with global compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with KYC providers such as Jumio, Onfido, or Sumsub
- Experience working across iOS and Android
- Experience with international and cross-functional stakeholders
- Background in fintech, crypto, or regulated consumer financial products
Responsibilities
- Own technical implementation for specific regional markets
- Lead mobile KYC and compliance implementation from requirements to release
- Make engineering decisions based on business, regulatory, and technical context
- Build and maintain document verification, facial recognition, and liveness detection features
- Collaborate with market leaders, compliance, legal, and product teams
- Integrate and optimize third-party KYC SDKs and services
- Ensure mobile data flows and permissions comply with privacy regulations
- Influence modular and reusable mobile architecture
- Apply AI tools and coding assistants to accelerate development
- Resolve compliance-flow edge cases, production issues, and technical risks
