About the Role
You will design, build, and maintain scalable Kubernetes control-plane services, operators, and custom controllers. You will automate the full cluster lifecycle, support GPU scheduling and inference services, partner on high-performance networking, build internal deployment tools, and help resolve production issues through on-call support.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals, including controllers, schedulers, operators, CRDs, CSI, and CNI
- Knowledge of distributed systems, fault tolerance, graceful degradation, and failure handling
- Experience operating large-scale Kubernetes control planes
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, distributed tracing, and alerting
- Strong Go and Python programming skills
- Knowledge of Linux, networking, containers, and cloud infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable control-plane services, operators, and custom Kubernetes controllers
- Develop Go and Python automation for cluster provisioning, upgrades, patching, and deletion
- Build GPU-aware orchestration systems for scheduling and resource allocation
- Partner on CNI integration, high-performance fabrics, RDMA, and GPUDirect networking
- Build resilient distributed systems with failure handling and degraded-mode operation
- Develop model-serving, autoscaling, and multi-model deployment services
- Build internal tools and CLIs for deploying and monitoring inference services
- Support and debug production issues through on-call rotation
