About the Role
You will design and maintain high-performance storage software. You will implement file, block, and object protocol APIs, build distributed storage orchestration, integrate hardware technologies, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of storage-system software development experience
- Experience with distributed systems programming
- Knowledge of load balancing, data durability, consensus algorithms, fault tolerance, and data consistency
- Programming skills in C, C++, Go, or Python
- Understanding of file, block, and object storage protocols
- Experience with Linux kernel internals and system-level programming
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and QA for distributed systems
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain storage-system software
- Implement and optimize file, block, and object storage protocol APIs
- Develop distributed systems for storage-resource management and orchestration
- Integrate software with storage solutions, NVMe, and GPU-direct storage
- Troubleshoot and debug production data-center issues
- Contribute from requirements and design through deployment and maintenance
