About the Role

You will architect backend services and data pipelines for map validation, simulation, and annotation tooling. You will design data models, build rendering capabilities, deploy AWS services, lead architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and improve reliability and performance across production systems.

Responsibilities

Architect and own backend services and data pipelines for map validation and simulation
Provide technical leadership for scalable web-based annotation tooling
Design data models and storage architectures
Build point-cloud and image rendering capabilities
Build and deploy scalable AWS pipelines and services
Drive technical design and architecture decisions
Collaborate with Mapping, Simulation, Annotation, and Perception stakeholders
Mentor engineers through reviews and pairing
Reduce technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and reliability gaps
Lead responses to production issues
