About the Role
You will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end portal solutions in Ruby on Rails for endpoint health, troubleshooting, and remediation. You will turn agent health signals into clear customer-facing and internal workflows, views, notifications, and configuration experiences. You will partner with engineers, product management, support, and other stakeholders to define data models, APIs, and interfaces; deliver reliable, maintainable features; write well-tested code; participate in code reviews; troubleshoot production issues; and help shape user-facing guidance for fleet health and remediation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience developing complex software products or platform capabilities
- 5+ years of experience building production software in Ruby on Rails
- Experience with relational databases such as Postgres and ORMs such as ActiveRecord
- Experience building customer-facing or internal platform capabilities from backend systems, health signals, or operational workflows
- Technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills in distributed systems and production environments
- Experience connecting backend or platform systems with customer-facing product, portal, or operational experiences
- Experience using AI coding agents to accelerate development
- Willingness to learn the agent-side endpoint domain
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end Ruby on Rails portal solutions for endpoint health, troubleshooting, and remediation workflows
- Own the delivery, quality, reliability, and maintainability of portal-side features
- Build and improve portal workflows, views, notifications, and configuration surfaces for agent health signals
- Translate backend health signals, diagnostics, and platform capabilities into customer-facing and internal experiences
- Break down endpoint and platform requirements into well-scoped technical work
- Contribute to technical design discussions and propose practical solutions
- Write high-quality, well-tested code and participate in code reviews
- Improve troubleshooting workflows and help resolve production issues
- Define data models, internal APIs, and interfaces for scalable portal experiences
- Shape user-facing experiences for fleet health, degraded states, notifications, and remediation guidance
- Break down ambiguous problems, validate designs, and serve as a technical point of contact for stakeholders
