About the Role
You will design next-generation query engine and structured storage systems. You will clarify requirements and make design decisions for ambiguous problems, produce technical designs and project plans, develop features, mentor junior engineers, and test, roll out, and monitor production systems.
Requirements
- Knowledge of database systems, storage systems, distributed systems, language design, or performance optimization
- Ability to work toward a multi-year vision with incremental deliverables
- Customer orientation and focus on impact
- 5+ years of experience working in a related system
- PhD in databases or distributed systems is optional
