About the Role
You will build and maintain scalable data services, pipelines, storage solutions, OLAP databases, ELTs, and analytics tooling. You will optimize system throughput, latency, and reliability; investigate data-operation issues; design integrations and data-quality frameworks; and partner with engineering, product, and analytics colleagues.
Requirements
- 8+ years of data engineering or backend engineering experience focused on data systems
- Python, Java, or Scala
- SQL
- GCP, AWS, or Azure data services
- Structured and unstructured data ingestion and transformation
- Distributed systems and distributed processing frameworks
- Terraform
- Kubernetes
- Containerization
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable data services, pipelines, and storage solutions for ML training and evaluation
- Build and manage OLAP databases, ELTs, and data tooling
- Optimize data infrastructure for throughput, latency, and reliability
- Investigate and correct issues identified through data operations monitoring
- Design data integrations and data-quality frameworks
- Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers, product managers, and analysts
