About the Role
You will work on post-trade and clearing systems that run the day-to-day operations of a broker-dealer. You will design and build new systems and integrations, implement securities finance features, and refine existing services for reliability and performance. You will own projects from ideation to deployment, operate production services as part of an on-call rotation, and troubleshoot incidents. You will design APIs and collaborate with others to deliver robust, production-grade backend infrastructure.
Requirements
- 5+ years hands-on experience building reliable distributed systems
- Proficient in Go
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Ability to design RESTful APIs
- Experience operating production services and participating in on-call rotations
- Foundational knowledge of computers, networks, databases, and distributed systems
- Experience working at startups
Responsibilities
- Design and build backend clearing and post-trade systems
- Own projects from ideation to deployment
- Integrate new clearing and settlement systems
- Implement securities finance features and product enabling infrastructure
- Refine and improve existing systems for reliability and performance
- Design and implement RESTful APIs
- Participate in on-call rotation and troubleshoot production incidents
- Maintain observability and monitoring for production services
