About the Role
You will build backend systems for customer integrations, including chat and email agent-assist services. You will architect real-time conversation state and session systems, improve reliability and performance, and implement secure authentication and authorization practices. You will own customer-facing technical deliverables and collaborate on platform requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of experience building scalable backend systems in production
- Experience designing and maintaining REST and gRPC APIs
- Understanding of distributed systems and real-time communication architectures
- Experience integrating third-party enterprise platforms and APIs
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Understanding of reliability, observability, and security in enterprise environments
Responsibilities
- Architect systems for real-time conversation state, context propagation, and session lifecycle
- Build and expand agent-assist integrations for chat and email
- Address customer integration, user-experience, and system-performance issues
- Own customer-facing technical deliverables and analyze technical tradeoffs
- Improve platform capabilities for new product requirements
- Ensure high availability, low latency, and observability for real-time systems
- Implement authentication, authorization, compliance, and enterprise security practices
- Drive reliability, performance, and scalability improvements in production
