About the Role

You'll join the Crypto Payments Squad to help build seamless cross-border payments involving both crypto and fiat currencies. You'll work on the APIs that let businesses send, receive, and programmatically manage crypto payments 24/7, while integrating with other domains like trading to create a smooth payment flow. You'll be part of a small autonomous squad empowered to own its problem space, forming strong opinions and executing fast but sustainably, always advocating for the simplest solution that achieves the outcomes customers need.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a Backend Developer in a similar role, preferably in the FinTech industry
• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot
• Proven ability to design, architect, debug, test, and create well-documented code
• Production experience in asynchronous messaging with microservices
• Understanding of common design patterns and principles, and how/when to apply them
• Demonstrated ability to translate abstract challenges into clear, actionable steps and solutions
• Experience taking a product from initiation through go-to-market, supporting products post launch
• Good understanding of financial services, particularly in banking, payments or crypto
• Familiarity with distributed ledger technology or blockchain is a plus
• Participate in out of hours on call rota
