About the Role
You will architect the backbone of fintech solutions as part of the engineering team driving MoneyLion's technology forward. You'll craft, implement, and refine microservices and RESTful APIs that enable seamless financial experiences across platforms. You'll take on a leadership role guiding project direction and architecture, mentor development teams, and ensure software complies with security standards and financial regulations. You'll optimize application performance for scalability and user experience, uphold quality through rigorous testing and code reviews, and solve intricate technical challenges under tight deadlines. You'll stay current with fintech technologies and industry trends, collaborate across departments to align software with business objectives, provide operational support and troubleshooting, and contribute to strategic planning with tech insights and innovation proposals.
Requirements
- Experienced in Java, or any other OOP languages such as C#.NET, or PHP
- Experienced in any relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MSSQL
- Experienced in non-relational databases such as MongoDB, DocumentDB, or CosmosDB
- Experienced in web APIs of reasonable complexity
- Familiar with containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- At least 4+ years of experience building and developing software would be preferred
