About the Role
You will lead the architecture, implementation, and evolution of core autonomy frameworks. You will establish engineering standards, guide technical decisions, improve reliability and observability, lead reviews, mentor engineers, and develop simulation and validation approaches for platform components.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience

Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and evolution of core autonomy frameworks
- Drive technical direction for real-time C++ components and patterns
- Establish scalable architectural patterns and abstractions
- Collaborate with Behavior and Perception teams on integration boundaries
- Lead architecture reviews, design discussions, and code reviews
- Mentor engineers through technical coaching and architectural guidance
- Improve platform validation, testing, observability, and production readiness
- Analyze platform issues and drive reliability improvements
- Define simulation and validation frameworks
- Evaluate emerging architectural patterns and systems research
- Communicate technical vision and architectural concepts across stakeholders
