About the Role
You will build deterministic real-time platform software and embedded firmware for robotic devices. You will develop drivers and middleware, optimize Linux real-time performance, lead platform integration, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and work with software, hardware, and control systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
- At least 5 years of embedded software development experience in robotics or industrial systems
- C++17/20 proficiency for embedded and real-time targets
- Experience with Embedded Linux and PREEMPT_RT optimization
- Experience with EtherCAT and serial communication protocols
- Experience with ARM and x86 architectures
- Experience with CMake and Conan
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- System- and driver-level debugging and fault-analysis skills
- English communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Design and implement deterministic real-time platform software on Embedded Linux using C++17/20
- Develop low-level EtherCAT and serial-protocol drivers
- Develop firmware for EtherCAT-based robotic devices
- Drive ARM-based platform development, carrier-board design, and hardware bring-up
- Optimize real-time performance using PREEMPT_RT, CPU isolation, scheduler policies, and priority tuning
- Develop robotics middleware using publish-subscribe and server-client architectures
- Drive architecture decisions and cross-component system integration
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, package management, and release workflows
- Collaborate on system-level integration with robotics software, hardware, and control systems
