About the Role
You will design, implement, and optimize secure, efficient, and scalable smart contract solutions across multiple blockchain ecosystems. You will develop novel DeFi protocols and bridging solutions, deploy contracts to new chains, and ensure contracts meet regulatory and compliance requirements through collaboration with product, legal, and compliance teams. You will provide technical leadership on blockchain projects, make high-impact technical decisions, and prioritize work to deliver robust, production-grade systems.
Requirements
- Based in PT, MT, CT, or ET time zones
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Minimum 3+ years of blockchain engineering experience, ideally from a DeFi protocol live on multiple chains
- Strong competency with Solidity and other non-EVM smart contract languages
- Proven results in building and scaling a DeFi protocol
- Strong technical judgment on task prioritization
- Emphasis on understanding the why behind requirements and defining minimum scope
Responsibilities
- Develop smart contracts
- Design and implement secure efficient scalable smart contract solutions
- Drive new chain deployments and multi-chain deployments
- Build novel DeFi interoperability and token bridging solutions
- Develop and evolve DeFi protocols
- Ensure contracts meet regulatory and compliance requirements through collaboration
- Provide technical leadership and guide engineering decisions
- Optimize and audit smart contract security and performance
