About the Role
Own the availability, performance, scalability, and security of production systems across cloud and on-premises environments. Design Kubernetes deployment strategies, manage CI/CD and GitOps pipelines and Terraform infrastructure, diagnose database performance issues, build observability, lead infrastructure initiatives and incident investigations, negotiate technical tradeoffs, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, MLOps, or platform engineering.
- Senior-level experience at a high-traffic company.
- Expertise in AWS or another major cloud provider.
- Production experience with Kubernetes and Linux.
- Experience with CI/CD and GitOps.
- Experience with ArgoCD or equivalent tools.
- Database performance analysis and monitoring experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Observability experience with Datadog or OpenTelemetry.
- Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform.
- On-call and incident handling experience.
- Strong English communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to negotiate technical compromises and own ambiguous scope.
