About the Role
You will design and execute test plans for robotic components and integrated systems. You will develop Python-based automation, contribute C++ tooling when needed, diagnose software and hardware issues, validate robot models and behavior, document results, and support demos, prototypes, and field testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related technical field
- At least 5 years of experience in robotics testing, applications engineering, integration, or system validation
- Python experience for testing, automation, data analysis, and robot interaction
- Understanding of robotics concepts including kinematics, dynamics, singularities, joint limits, URDFs, coordinate transformations, and motion constraints
- Experience testing integrated robotic software and hardware modules
- Experience designing, executing, and analyzing structured test plans
- Software and hardware debugging skills
- Experience with Git, JIRA, and issue-tracking workflows
- English communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute structured test plans for robotic components and integrated systems
- Validate the functionality, robustness, and performance of robotic software and hardware
- Develop Python test scripts, tools, and automation frameworks
- Contribute C++ code for low-level testing, tooling, and integration support
- Analyze robot behavior and identify root causes of system issues
- Debug kinematics, motion planning, control, perception, and hardware-interaction issues
- Validate system correctness using URDF models, coordinate transformations, and robot descriptions
- Support application demos, showcases, customer use cases, field tests, and prototype validation
- Document test procedures, results, defects, and system performance
- Improve testing strategies, coverage, and automation infrastructure
