About the Role
You will lead reliability investigations from intake through permanent closure. You will analyze operational and manufacturing data, identify failure trends, conduct hands-on investigations, deploy corrective actions, document findings, and improve reliability metrics and fleet health.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related technical discipline
- 7+ years of engineering experience in safety-critical industries
- Troubleshooting and systems-level problem-solving skills across hardware, software, and operations
- Experience with 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, Fault Tree Analysis, FMEA, or similar investigation methodologies
- Technical writing and communication skills
- Experience working hands-on with aircraft hardware, instrumentation, test equipment, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency with Python, SQL, or similar data-analysis tools
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end RCCA investigations for fleet reliability issues
- Analyze flight logs, telemetry, manufacturing, and maintenance data for reliability trends and failure modes
- Partner with cross-functional teams to reproduce anomalies and deploy corrective actions
- Author technical reports and RCCA documentation
- Contribute to reliability metrics, continuous improvement, and design feedback loops
