About the Role
You will define reliability goals and verification priorities, identify failure-focused tests, and analyze test and field data. You will lead root-cause investigations, develop reliability-trending methods, support requirements verification, and drive corrective actions and retest plans across hardware and software systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-882 or comparable safety and risk-analysis frameworks
- Experience identifying failure modes, reliability risks, and corrective actions from test or field data
- Experience with environmental, performance, qualification, or durability testing
- Experience working across mechanical, electrical, software, and systems teams
Responsibilities
- Define system-level reliability goals and risk-based verification priorities
- Identify reliability-critical tests, stress cases, and operating conditions
- Analyze test and field data for failure modes and reliability risks
- Lead root-cause investigations across system interfaces
- Develop reliability trending, failure categorization, and corrective-action tracking
- Support requirements verification with reliability and hazard considerations
- Define corrective actions, retest plans, and closure criteria
