About the Role

Design and build systematic market-making infrastructure across advanced on-chain trading venues, including pricing, quoting, inventory management, hedging, risk controls, and deployment tooling.

Requirements

Bridge research and development rather than serving as only a researcher or developer
Deep hands-on experience building passive, maker-oriented order-book market-making strategies
Ability to model, build, backtest, deploy, and iterate trading systems end to end
Ability to articulate and evaluate Avellaneda-Stoikov and machine-learning market-making approaches and their trade-offs
Based in or willing to relocate to the Zürich area
Available to work in the office three days per week

Responsibilities

Design and build market-making engines, including pricing, quoting, inventory management, and hedging logic
Develop and maintain real-time risk and exposure management systems with limits, monitoring frameworks, and kill-switch mechanisms
Own architectural decisions related to performance, scalability, and system resilience
Collaborate with on-chain and protocol teams to integrate trading logic into broader infrastructure
Improve tooling, workflows, and deployment safety for faster iteration with appropriate controls
