About the Role
You will develop and execute production plans for prototype and developmental aircraft builds. You will translate engineering releases and milestones into manufacturing schedules, manage work orders, monitor risks, coordinate schedule recovery, align material availability, and maintain ERP/MRP planning accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in production planning, manufacturing planning, production control, or supply chain operations
- Experience supporting complex hardware, aerospace, defense, automotive, robotics, or similarly engineered products
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Costpoint
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, work-order management, bills of material, and production scheduling
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules for prototype aircraft builds, assemblies, and integration activities
- Translate engineering release plans, priorities, and milestones into manufacturing schedules
- Release and manage work orders
- Coordinate schedule adjustments for engineering changes and changing priorities
- Monitor production progress and identify risks to build, integration, and flight-test milestones
- Coordinate temporary planning structures while maintaining configuration control
- Facilitate schedule recovery plans
- Align material availability with build requirements and timelines
- Support ERP/MRP accuracy through planning and work-order management
