About the Role

Build automation and self-healing tools for software-defined networking infrastructure. Improve routing convergence, traffic engineering, policy enforcement, fault isolation, availability, latency, and performance; investigate incidents through telemetry and packet analysis; and optimize networking systems, drivers, and control planes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience in production engineering, systems engineering, or networking engineering
  • Experience automating network provisioning, configuration, and remediation
  • Experience with SDN platforms and protocols
  • Proficiency in Python, Go, or C
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and deployment tooling
  • Knowledge of Linux networking internals, kernel modules, and packet scheduling
  • Familiarity with BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, and network virtualization
  • Experience with containerized workloads, Kubernetes, Docker, and CNI plugins
  • Incident response, troubleshooting, and documentation experience
  • Experience operating managed networking services at scale
