About the Role
You will build, operate, and scale the cloud foundation supporting a high-performance trading exchange. You will create modular infrastructure as code, maintain production Kubernetes environments, improve CI/CD and developer tooling, support incident response, optimize cloud resources, and enhance the Backstage developer portal. You will also apply AI-powered tools to infrastructure provisioning and debugging.
Requirements
- Expertise designing and managing cloud compute, storage, networking, and security environments
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker in production or staging environments
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar infrastructure-as-code tools
- Understanding of GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or similar CI/CD platforms
- Understanding of VPCs, DNS, load balancers, and firewalls
Responsibilities
- Write, test, and deploy modular Terraform infrastructure on GCP and other cloud providers
- Maintain and optimize GKE clusters for uptime, networking, and scaling
- Apply LLM-based coding assistants and improve the internal AI platform
- Streamline CI/CD pipelines and production deployments
- Participate in incident response, identify root causes, and implement long-term fixes
- Optimize cloud spending, performance, scalability, and security
- Collaborate on cloud architecture and engineering best practices
- Build and enhance the Backstage internal developer portal
