About the Role

You will own the trading product strategy and v1 specifications for Strium, a fully onchain spot and perpetual exchange. You will translate requirements from market makers and institutional investors into product specifications, define listing and risk parameters, make design decisions with engineering, monitor product metrics, analyze competing venues, and write the RFCs and specifications that drive the product forward.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience and advanced English proficiency
  • At least three of the listed qualifications
  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • 2+ years developing and launching order-book trading platforms
  • Experience managing roadmaps with market makers and institutional investors as key stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of trading terminology, perpetual markets, and liquidation engines
  • Continuous personal trading of perpetuals at meaningful volume
  • Experience defining scope and making decisions in a pre-PMF environment
  • Business-level or higher English
  • Curiosity and ability to learn onchain liquidation, risk management, and perpetual engines

Responsibilities

  • Own product strategy and v1 specifications for trading features
  • Translate market-maker and large-trader requirements into product specifications
  • Drive the listing pipeline
  • Set initial leverage, tick-size, and funding-limit parameters
  • Make design decisions with engineering for matching, risk, and API engines
  • Define and monitor product metrics including order-book depth, slippage, fill rate, and API latency
  • Analyze competing trading venues
  • Develop strategies for competitive differentiation
  • Write RFCs and product specifications
