About the Role

You will own major product areas within a managed orchestration portfolio, including Kubernetes lifecycle, control-plane capabilities, node health, workload scheduling, and customer APIs. You will define technical product designs, partner with engineering, evaluate edge cases, understand customer needs, prioritize investments, coordinate across cloud infrastructure teams, and communicate decisions clearly.

Requirements

  • Understanding of AI and machine learning infrastructure
  • Significant experience with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, workload orchestration, or related technologies
  • Five or more years of experience owning complex technical products or infrastructure initiatives
  • Ability to reason through APIs, lifecycle states, failure modes, upgrades, operational workflows, and distributed-system dependencies
  • Strong product judgment
  • Track record of independently driving ambiguous cross-functional initiatives
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Own major orchestration product areas and their roadmaps
  • Develop technical product designs covering APIs, lifecycle states, failure handling, upgrades, and customer controls
  • Partner with engineers throughout discovery, design, implementation, and validation
  • Evaluate working software, edge cases, and failure modes
  • Understand customer and operator problems
  • Prioritize product investments based on customer value, reliability, differentiation, engineering cost, and operational burden
  • Coordinate interfaces across infrastructure, networking, storage, identity, observability, capacity, and workload teams
  • Produce requirements and decision documents
  • Explain technical trade-offs and business implications
