About the Role
You will own the end-to-end external developer experience. You will set the API strategy and standards, improve documentation and sandbox parity, make failures actionable, define controlled agent access, package white-label offerings, research integration barriers, and measure developer success.
Requirements
- 6+ years of product management experience
- Experience owning an API, developer platform or developer-facing product
- Knowledge of API design, authentication, webhooks, versioning and sandbox environments
- Technical documentation skills
- Knowledge of white-label and embedded-finance models
- Knowledge of AI agents as API consumers, permissions, limits and audit
- Ability to work with engineers, compliance, security and commercial stakeholders
- Experience using AI tools for research, drafting, analysis and prototyping
- Right to work in the applicable jurisdiction
Responsibilities
- Own the external developer experience strategy and roadmap
- Own API design principles, consistency, versioning and deprecation policy
- Deliver a production-parity sandbox
- Rebuild documentation around developer jobs
- Improve API error design with Engineering and Support
- Define controlled MCP and agent access
- Productize the white-label offer for reseller and embedded partners
- Research integration barriers with implementation, solutions and support functions
- Maintain Jobs to Be Done research and evidence
- Track time to first payment, integration success, API errors and developer satisfaction
