Senior Product Manager, Custody

About the Role

You will own the strategy, roadmap, and mechanics for how digital assets are secured and moved. You will design end-to-end deposit and withdrawal flows, drive chain and wallet integrations, define signing and key management approaches, and build policy-driven authorization. You will work with engineering, operations, finance, compliance, security, and partners, write technical specs and API documentation, and analyze on-chain and transaction data to optimize performance and reliability.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4+ years experience in Product Management
  • Strong background building API-based products
  • Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals including wallet architecture, transaction construction, and signing models (MPC, HSM, multi-sig)
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executive management
  • Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts with engineering teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies and tools, particularly Jira
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including ability to write SQL queries and analyze data
  • Preferred: Experience building institutional custody, wallet, or staking products
  • Preferred: Familiarity with EVM and non-EVM chain integrations
  • Preferred: Prior experience in a software engineering or sales engineering-like role
  • Preferred: Experience in a fast-paced startup environment

Responsibilities

  • Own the custody roadmap and execution, prioritizing asset and chain integrations and policy engine capabilities
  • Design end-to-end deposit and withdrawal flows from API contract through wallet operations, signing, broadcast, confirmation, and exception handling
  • Integrate with custody technology partners, signing providers, and node infrastructure vendors
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering to translate product requirements into production-ready systems
  • Develop reconciliation processes and automate exception handling across on-chain activity with operations and finance
  • Ensure custody flows meet regulatory requirements, key management standards, and fraud protections by collaborating with compliance, security, and risk
  • Write technical specifications and internal and client-facing API documentation
  • Analyze on-chain and transaction data to identify optimizations, measure flow performance, and inform product decisions
