About the Role
You will own the product lifecycle for command and field-operations tools, from user research through deployment and feedback. You will define requirements, prioritize features, track KPIs, work with end users and cross-functional partners, and communicate progress, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience
- Experience with web and mobile operations tools and remote monitoring systems
- Experience deploying software products in operations-intensive environments
- Experience leading strategy and execution in an ambiguous, dynamic market
- Design sensibility and experience working with UX researchers and interaction designers
- Experience building relationships with engineering, operations, customers, and external stakeholders
- Technical degree or equivalent background in engineering, computer science, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Own the full product lifecycle for the assigned area
- Enable remote fleet management, routing, monitoring, support, and troubleshooting
- Drive features from needs identification through deployment
- Remove blockers to successful product deployment
- Prioritize features based on commercial and competitive context
- Define requirements with engineering partners
- Define and track KPIs and product readiness
- Gather customer feedback and communicate it to internal teams
- Provide program updates, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders
- Visit customer locations to gather and present field feedback
- Travel periodically to the Mountain View headquarters
