About the Role
You will own features end to end write the spec design the solution build it and operate it in production You will design build and maintain backend services in Node.js and TypeScript NestJS or Elysia for high performance APIs and async jobs You will work with AWS cloud native services Lambda SQS EventBridge Aurora S3 CloudWatch for scalable resilient architectures You will manage data storage and synchronization with Postgres and Aurora You will implement and maintain CI CD pipelines with GitHub Actions You will contribute to architecture decisions code reviews and security practices You will collaborate directly with product and business stakeholders no PM layer no handholding You will leverage AI tools to boost development velocity
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience
- Deep expertise with Node.js and TypeScript including RESTful API design and async job patterns
- Strong product sense and end-to-end ownership of a feature from idea to production
- Experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, SQS, Aurora, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, etc.)
- Strong SQL fundamentals and experience with relational databases
- Familiarity with event driven and serverless architectures
- Clear communication and ability to work autonomously in a fully remote async team
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to boost development efficiency
Responsibilities
