About the Role
Own product features from specification through production operation, design and maintain Node.js and TypeScript backend services, build AWS cloud-native architectures, manage PostgreSQL and Aurora data storage, maintain CI/CD pipelines, contribute to architecture and security practices, and collaborate directly with product and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience
- Deep expertise with Node.js and TypeScript
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and asynchronous job patterns
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
- Strong SQL fundamentals and relational database experience
- Familiarity with event-driven and serverless architectures
- Clear communication and ability to work autonomously
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve development efficiency
Responsibilities
- Own features end-to-end from specification to production operation
- Design, build, and maintain Node.js and TypeScript backend services
- Build scalable architectures with AWS cloud-native services
- Manage data storage and synchronization with PostgreSQL and Aurora
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
- Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and security practices
- Collaborate with product and business stakeholders
- Use AI tools and modern development practices to improve engineering velocity
