About the Role
You will architect, deploy, and operate Kubernetes clusters across bare-metal datacenters. You will automate provisioning, upgrades, and scaling; own production reliability, performance, and security; implement observability; establish platform standards; lead incident response; and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years in platform, infrastructure, or SRE roles
- Production Kubernetes experience at scale
- Knowledge of Kubernetes internals and day-two operations
- Helm, Kustomize, or GitOps delivery experience
- Linux systems knowledge
- Terraform, Pulumi, or equivalent infrastructure-as-code experience
- Knowledge of networking, service meshes, and container runtimes
- Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry experience
- Go or Python automation and tooling skills
- Experience with network policies, secrets management, and image scanning
Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and operate Kubernetes clusters
- Build and maintain cluster lifecycle automation
- Own production reliability, performance, and security
- Implement cluster observability, logging, and alerting
- Design scalable cloud-native services with product teams
- Set standards for resource management, networking, and RBAC
- Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and postmortems
- Mentor junior engineers
