About the Role
You will design and operate Kubernetes clusters, cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and internal platform services. You will establish secure deployment standards, integrate Kubernetes with HPC workflows, build observability, automate recurring work, document systems, and participate in incident response.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related infrastructure experience
- Production Kubernetes operations experience
- CI/CD pipeline development experience
- Experience with a major cloud provider and infrastructure as code
- Linux and Python, Go, or Bash skills
- Container image, registry, and runtime security knowledge
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Security knowledge of IAM, network segmentation, and secure cloud defaults
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and operate Kubernetes clusters for research workloads
- Define and enforce secure CI/CD pipeline practices
- Implement and manage internal services for research and data workloads
- Manage cloud infrastructure as code
- Establish platform standards for images, deployments, and environment promotion
- Integrate Kubernetes workflows with HPC and Slurm environments
- Build platform metrics, logs, traces, and alerts
- Embed IAM, secrets, supply-chain, network, and audit controls
- Document systems and automate repeated tasks
- Participate in platform incident response and post-incident improvements
