About the Role

You will own the full lifecycle of critical automation infrastructure, from architecture and implementation through monitoring, failure handling, and continuous hardening. You will implement and maintain security automations, build and test automation pipelines, integrate with wallet and custody systems, design monitoring and tiered alerting, and proactively spot and remediate operational gaps.

Requirements

• 5+ years software engineering with 3+ years in DeFi/Web3 operations
• Direct experience operating DeFi vaults multisigs or on-chain treasury systems
• Hands-on experience with Safe (Gnosis Safe) SDK and transaction flows
• Security integration experience (Hypernative Blockaid Forta or equivalent)
• Automation engineering: building testing and maintaining production automation pipelines
• Strong testing methodology including unit integration and end-to-end testing
• Experience with monitoring and alerting platforms (Datadog Grafana PagerDuty or custom-built)
• Familiarity with the ERC-4626 vault standard and tokenised vault mechanics
• Multi-chain operations experience across Ethereum and L2s
• Custody platform experience (Fireblocks BitGo or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of critical automation infrastructure
• Implement Hypernative integration across fortified wallets and Safes
• Implement transaction policy scanning for outbound addresses
• Establish comprehensive whitelisting across operational wallets
• Audit and harden security configurations to institutional standards
• Build comprehensive test suites for critical automation paths
• Define and implement tested behavior for every failure state
• Establish reliability confidence metrics for automations
• Design monitoring systems and tiered alerting with escalation paths
• Ensure consistent coverage across supported chains
