About the Role

You will plan and execute red-team exercises, threat modeling, and penetration tests across applications, infrastructure, and corporate environments. You will develop security-testing tools, partner on adversarial simulations and incident readiness, communicate findings, support remediation, mentor engineers, and lead relevant security incidents.

Requirements

• Have 6 or more years of red-team operations or advanced penetration-testing experience
• Have experience mentoring security engineers
• Understand network protocols and standards including DNS and TCP/IP
• Have experience with macOS and Linux
• Understand CI, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, and GCP security testing and hardening
• Know defensive tools and techniques including IDS, IPS, packet capture, network analysis, antivirus, and EDR
• Understand the MITRE ATT&CK Framework
• Understand access and identity security fundamentals
• Read and write Python, Go, and JavaScript
• Research and execute testing plans for new technologies or processes
• Have experience working with distributed teams
• Communicate through Slack, JIRA, GitHub Issues, and email
• Have preferred Financial Technology experience
• Have preferred technical-lead experience

Responsibilities

• Evangelize offensive-security findings and projects with stakeholders
• Mentor Offensive Security team members
• Plan and execute red-team exercises and long-term adversarial assessments
• Perform threat modeling and penetration testing across applications, infrastructure, and corporate environments
• Develop scripts and tools to automate security testing
• Partner on adversarial simulations and incident readiness
• Communicate findings and partner with engineering teams to remediate risks
• Lead security incidents arising from penetration-testing or red-team findings
• Plan and participate in adversarial simulation exercises
