About the Role
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cutting-edge network and infrastructure solutions, while also providing support to development teams. You'll ensure the smooth operation of the company's geo-distributed infrastructure, maintain and configure network equipment and virtualization systems, administer Linux servers, monitor services, automate administrative tasks, and collaborate closely with developers, database administrators, DevOps engineers, and architects to improve infrastructure.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a similar position
- Excellent knowledge of configuring and operating active network equipment: switches, routers, firewalls
- Strong knowledge of network technologies: VLAN, STP, static routing, PBR, OSPF, BGP, ACL, IPSEC, OpenVPN, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Experience with VMWare: vCenter, vSAN, Distributed Switch, HA
- Working knowledge of HP/Dell servers and storage systems
- Experience in the administration of Debian/Ubuntu family Linux
- Experience in the administration of monitoring systems, logging, and collection of metrics
- Intermediate or higher level of spoken and technical English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth operation of the company's geo-distributed infrastructure
- Maintain and configure network equipment, bare metal servers, and NAS
- Maintain and configure the virtualization system (VMWare)
- Administer multiple Linux servers
- Monitor the status of services and promptly resolve emerging problems
- Automate administrative tasks
- Participate in the development and improvement of infrastructure
- Interact with developers, database administrators, DevOps engineers, and architects
