About the Role

You will design, deploy, and maintain resilient network systems across data centers, on-premises sites, remote offices, and public cloud environments. You will automate network operations, improve performance and security, troubleshoot complex issues, manage changes and upgrades, document configurations, and participate in on-call support.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience supporting and administering complex production network systems
• Expertise in network routing, switching, and security architectures
• Proficiency with a Network Operating System such as NX-OS, JunOS, or Arista EOS
• Proficiency with a Network Security OS such as PAN-OS or FortiOS
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Python, or network automation and infrastructure-as-code practices
• Understanding of firewall management, segmentation, and VPN technologies
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or 6+ years of relevant experience with a professional certification
• Experience building scalable hybrid connectivity between on-premises systems and cloud networks

Responsibilities

• Design and implement routing, switching, WLAN, and firewall infrastructure
• Deploy and manage WAN and VPN connectivity
• Develop network automation for provisioning, monitoring, and configuration management
• Improve network performance, resiliency, security, and capacity
• Plan and execute network and firewall changes
• Troubleshoot network hardware, software, and application issues
• Maintain secure connectivity services
• Create operational and configuration documentation
• Engage vendors for escalated troubleshooting and lifecycle planning
• Participate in on-call rotations and maintenance activities
• Lead or assist with network upgrades, patching, and vulnerability remediation
