About the Role
You will plan and manage hardware production schedules, maintain quality and delivery performance, and create and improve standard operating procedures. You will manage materials and inventory, train operators, resolve manufacturing issues, and troubleshoot issues affecting deployed products for internal users.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering, information engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Practical experience with embedded products
- Basic knowledge and experience using Linux
- Fundamental knowledge of electronic circuits and electronic equipment
- Business-level English, or business-level Japanese with English reading and writing ability
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage production schedules
- Create and continuously improve standard operating procedures
- Train and support manufacturing operators
- Procure raw materials and manage inventory
- Investigate and resolve manufacturing-process issues
- Classify nonconformities and determine rework actions
- Minimize production downtime
- Troubleshoot deployed-product issues for internal users
- Provide technical support for product defects and quality issues
