About the Role
You will oversee development of automated target recognition software for moving and stationary objects in synthetic aperture radar data. You will manage radar specialists and machine learning engineers, communicate with stakeholders, develop technical proposals, mentor staff, resolve technical and business needs, and create physics simulations that address simulation-to-real-world bias.
Requirements
- At least three years of engineering team leadership experience
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance
- Knowledge of synthetic aperture radar phenomenology and signal processing
- Physics or electrical engineering background
- Deep neural network experience
- Executive communication skills
- Technical proposal writing experience
- Business development experience
- Experience mentoring and evaluating team members
- Ability to create physics simulations
- Must be a U.S. Person under applicable export regulations
Responsibilities
- Oversee automated target recognition software development for synthetic aperture radar data
- Manage radar subject-matter experts and machine learning engineers
- Lead engineering teams to deliver technical performance on time and within budget
- Create written and visual technical communications for customers and internal stakeholders
- Write technical proposals and support business development
- Mentor team members, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations
