About the Role

You will lead the strategic sourcing function and Category Manager team. You will develop sourcing playbooks and governance, consolidate portfolio risks, coach complex negotiations, prioritize resources, and report category strategy, supply constraints, and savings to leadership.

Requirements

8–12+ years of strategic sourcing or category management experience
Direct people-management experience for a sourcing or procurement team in manufacturing, industrial hardware, or electrical equipment
Experience designing and scaling sourcing governance, playbooks, and team development
Expertise in contract negotiation and commercial-term redlining
Fluency in portfolio risk management, category segmentation, and financial modeling

Responsibilities

Hire, coach, and evaluate Category Managers
Maintain a cross-category supply-risk register
Develop and improve sourcing playbooks and supplier scorecards
Establish negotiation governance, approval thresholds, and escalation paths
Coach teams on complex supplier contracts
Prioritize sourcing resources across spend categories
Maintain boundaries between strategic sourcing and material planning
Report category strategy, savings, and supply constraints to leadership and S&OP
